ONTAP Select cluster not serving data and is offline

  • NetApp ONTAP Select Deploy
  • VMware vCenter console

Issue

  • Node 1 in an ONTAP Select cluster has stopped serving data and is offline
  • The Deploy instance is also offline and inaccessible
  • The surviving node- node 2,  is unable to serve data since RDBs are reporting offline in the vCenter console and a message is displayed- waiting for requisite number of mailbox disks
