ONTAP Select: Upgrading existing KVM installations from ONTAP 9.9.1 to ONTAP 9.14.1

Description

Existing KVM installations running ONTAP 9.9.1 can be upgraded using standard ONTAP ANDU procedures to get to ONTAP 9.14.1.

Since the ONTAP ANDU upgrade  matrix limits supported upgrades to a hop of 4 major versions at a time, the workflow that has been qualified is:

  • Upgrade ONTAP 9.9.1 to ONTAP 9.13.1
  • Upgrade ONTAP 9.13.1 to ONTAP 9.14.1
