Answer

The short answer is NO.

ONTAP Select can be deployed on only the following hypervisors:

  • Kernel Virtual Machine (KVM) on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.6, 8.7, 8.8, 9.0, 9.1, 9.2, and 9.4

  • Kernel Virtual Machine (KVM) on Rocky Linux 8.6, 8.7, 8.8, 8.9, 9.0, 9.1, 9.2, 9.3, and 9.4

  • VMware Elastic Sky X Integrated (ESXi) 7.0 GA (build 15843807 or greater) including 7.0 U1, U2, and U3C

  • VMware Elastic Sky X Integrated (ESXi) 8.0 GA (build 20513097)

  • VMware Elastic Sky X Integrated (ESXi) 8.0 U1 (build 21495797)

  • VMware Elastic Sky X Integrated (ESXi) 8.0 U2

  • VMware Elastic Sky X Integrated (ESXi) 8.0 U3

Additional Information

  • Although Nutanix Acropolis Hypervisors (AHV) are Kernel Virtual Machine (KVM) based, it is a highly modified version that does not include the software code required to support ONTAP Select. As a result, this is not supported.
