Issue

  • Following errors are reported in EMS logs on NetApp nodes

Sat Jan 11 18:50:31 +0100 [clusterA-02: mgwd: callhome.hm.alert.major:alert]: Call home for Health Monitor process nchm: InterconnectAdapterOfflineAlert[500a0981XXXXXXXX].

fcvi.qlgc.qpErr: FC-VI adapter: FCVI driver on port X received QP Error. QP name = Control, QP
index = 0x1, VI state = Error(state code = 0x3), sub-error = Message ID error(OOD)(error code = 0x6). Remote node's system id =x. This error has occured X times.

7/25/2023 02:22:09  NodeA_1 ERROR fcvi.qlgc.ioErr: FC-VI adapter: FCVI driver on port 5a received IO error. Status = FW detected response error(status code = 0x121), FCVI opcode = Write Request(0x1), QP name = WAFL, QP index = 2, Remote node's system id = xxxxxxx.

  • Brocade switch reports errors on the affected port in the output of portterrshow command:
