Event Summary

The autosupport message is raised when not all nodes in the MetroCluster are using the same AFF personality. 

  • Example: SiteA consists out of AFF A700 nodes, SiteB consists out of FAS 9000 nodes
  • Example: After a boot device replacement in a two nodes AFF MetroCluster, when the node with the issue is booting as a FAS

A switchover in this situation might not be possible or fail

Validate

EMS:
