STORAGE ->Storage VMs ->Click SVM ->Settings -> SMB/CIFS -> Configuration -> Edit SMB/CIFS settings -> Encrypt data

What's the meaning of encrypt data setting on System Manager?

  • Meaning:
    • This setting is to enable or disable SMB encryption on the CIFS server, which applies to all shares on the CIFS server.
    • It's the same as command setting on document.
