crypto.import.failed events observed during boot of cluster

Issue

  • After a relocation of a 6 node cluster, some crypto.import.failed events were observed during boot on some of the nodes:
Sat Feb 01 16:41:41 +0000 [cluster1-07: vv_apply05: crypto.import.failed:alert]: ERROR: Import of key with key ID 00000000000000000200000000000xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0000000000000000 failed. Additional information: key specified is not found.
  • A few minutes later, the keys that failed to be imported were imported successfully.
  • The issue was not seen after rebooting a single ONTAP node.
