Issue

  • Call to ONTAP S3 fails with Internal error during Takeover/Giveback of ONTAP S3
  • This may cause read errors for clients using Fabricpool if some active Filesystem data is stored in cloud tier
  • Only the snapshot_only tiering policy is recommended for SAN clients, as mentioned in the technical report:
