Vscan connection disconnected due to the Vscan server-side interface configuration

Issue

In the following condition, ONTAP is frequently suffering The Vscan disconnection.

  • Multiple interfaces are assigned IP addresses on the Vscan server side.
Example:
  • Interface 1 192.168.1.200 > For vscan service
  • Interface 2 172.16.67.200 > For other service
  • Multiple data LIF is configured on the ONTAP side 
Example:
  • LIF 1 192.168.1.100 > For vscan service
  • LIF 2 172.16.67.100 > For client accessing.
  • Only one Vscan server-side IP is added to the "scanner-pool" on the ONTAP side.
Example:
 
Interface 1's IP "192.168.1.200" is added to scanner-pool.

Note
 
It's meaning the other one of the Vscan server's IP(172.16.67.200) is not allowed to initiates the Vscan connection.
