Issue

  • If the switch sets the MTU size as 1500, a ping test from the client with an MTU size of 1500 will fail
Example:
Netapp storage: MTU 1500
Swithch: MTU 1500
Client: MTU 1500
  • If the switch sets the MTU size as 9192, a ping test from the client with an MTU size of 1500 will succeed
Example:
Netapp storage: MTU 1500
Swithch: MTU 9192
Client: MTU 1500
