Description

  • The owner of a file is able to change permission and delete files that they create, however, the owner is unable to change ownership to another user
  • Non-root users are unable to change ownership of files if the chown-mode option to restricted
  • Sectrace confirms:

                                                  Access is denied. The owner permissions can be changed only by root while setting attributes.
