  • Some client are unable to connect to CIFS shares using the FQDN, while others connect successfully
  • Connection via IP address works
  • WireShark analysis and logs show Kerberos errors such as:
KRB5KRB_AP_ERR_MODIFIED
  • CIFS server configuration only lists RC4 and DES encryption types for Kerberos
