Intermittent performance issue on the cluster

Issue

  • Ping test shows the round trip time of more than 25 ms:
Cluster01---SS001#ping x.x.x.x source vlan vlan-id size 1500 rep 500
Type escape sequence to abort.
Sending 500, 1500-byte ICMP Echos to x.x.x.x, timeout is 2 seconds:
Packet sent with a source address of 136.25.66.252

Success rate is 100 percent (500/500), round-trip min/avg/max = 15/25/215 ms
  • The affected logical interface (LIF) is  getting auto-migrated to the partner node and is showing 100 speed though it is configured for 1000.
  • The issue occurs when affected LIF gets failed over to the port of the partner node. It's working fine when it's on home-node and home-port.
