How to collect Performance Statistics for intermittent issues

In situations where statistics gathered by Performance Archiver and Performance Advisor are not detailed enough to diagnose the performance issue, NetApp Support might suggest collecting Perfstat data during the performance degradation. If the issue is random in nature, it can make data collection difficult. In such an event, data collection over a long period of time might be required.
