Issue

When a cluster with IOM6 or IOM6E disk shelves attached is validated for an upgrade to ONTAP 9.16.1 or later, the pre-update checks may complete without warning that the shelves are unsupported. The upgrade can proceed without the operator being alerted. After upgrading, environmental monitoring for the unsupported shelves is unavailable.
