Issue

  • No access to the cluster's management IP addresses.
  • Errors are shown in the event log:
ALERT   vifmgr.lifdown.noports: LIF cluster_mgmt (on virtual server 4294967295), IP address 192.168.0.101, currently cannot be hosted on node Node-01, port e0M, or any of its failover targets, and is being marked as down.
ALERT   vifmgr.lifdown.noports: LIF Node-02_mgmt (on virtual server 4294967295), IP address 192.168.0.112, currently cannot be hosted on node Node-02, port e0M, or any of its failover targets, and is being marked as down.
ALERT   vifmgr.lifdown.noports: LIF Node-01_mgmt (on virtual server 4294967295), IP address 192.168.0.111, currently cannot be hosted on node Node-01, port e0M, or any of its failover targets, and is being marked as down.
  • Ping from the same or external network doesn't work:
ping 192.168.0.101
Pinging 192.168.0.101 with 32 bytes of data:
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Ping statistics for 192.168.0.101:
    Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 0, Lost = 4 (100% loss)
  • The cluster's management IPs can be accessed by direct connection to the node's port.
