Issue

  • Snapshots not getting created as per the schedule.
  • Snapshot is deleted automatically upon creation:
[Node-1: snap_helper: wafl.volume.snap.autoDelete:info]: Deleting Snapshot copy 'test_snapshot' in volume 'vol1@vserver:9f4eafe2-d86f-11e8-8f97-00xxxxxxxxxxx' to recover storage.

There are no entries matching your query.
  • The issue occurs when the volume percent-snapshot-space (snapshot reserve) is set to 0%:

Cluster::> vol show -vserver SVM1 -volume vol1 -fields percent-snapshot-space
vserver volume percent-snapshot-space
------- ------ ----------------------
SVM1    vol1   0%
