Is it possible to re-learn ARP after switching it to active mode?

Answer

Yes, it is possible to re-learn Autonomous Ransomware Protection after switching it to active mode, however, previous learning data will be cleared.

Note:  Learning mode is no longer needed on ONTAP 9.16.1 or later versions with FlexVol volumes.

Additional Information

The re-learning steps:

  1.  Disable ARP.
  2.  Enable ARP for learning mode.

Note: When the ARP is disabled, the learning data will be cleared.
