Answer

  • No.
  • Sending AutoSupport messages to specific email addresses, whether from an internal support organization or a partner support organization, always requires a mailhost configuration.
  • For example, https protocol is recommended to send messages to technical support and partner organizaion also want to receive messages, then those messages will be transported using both HTTPS and SMTP, respectively.
