Issue

  • Volume analytics has been enabled recently and database initialization has not completed yet and many delta records exist
  • Storage failover is triggered either using storage failover takeover or aggregate relocation start
    Note: the problem does not trigger during unplanned takeover, as example when a node panics or hardware fails
  • the node originally owning the aggregate to be relocated panics:

  • Clients experience and outage in data availability
