Answer

::*> volume move start -vserver vserver1 -volume vol1 -destination-aggregate dst_aggr
Warning: Volume move of the volume "vol1" on Vserver "vserver1" will lose cross-volume deduplication savings, if any, because the destination is a newly-moved volume. Cross-volume deduplication will resume when the volume has been moved to the destination aggregate.
Do you want to continue? {y|n}:

  • The above warning implies that when the volume is moved, any cross-volume deduplication savings it had will be forfeited.
  • Once the volume has been successfully moved to the destination aggregate, the cross-volume deduplication will resume, and the savings will be regained.
