Issue

Cluster 1::> volume move start -vserver Cluster 1vbk1 -volume test vol -destination-aggregate test aggregate -perform-validation-only true

Warning: Volume move of the volume "test vol" on Vserver "Cluster 1vbk1" will move to non-AFF storage system. Cross-volume deduplication is not supported on non-AFF storage system therefore it will be disabled.Do you want to continue? {y|n}: n

The above warning implies that when the volume is moved, any cross-volume deduplication savings it had will be forfeited.

FAS systems can have cross-volume-dedup enabled manually by DPO license and/or by manually setting the option .
