Can we develop an agent that can log in to NetApp to retrieve the SNMP data

Answer

  • No, there is no option to let an agent log in and retrieve the SNMP data. As per the SNMP configuration, traps have to be configured in order to receive the events at the desired SNMP destination.
  • We can retrieve the information only from the SNMP server.
