Issue

  • Autosupport transmission via HTTP/S fails:

Cluster::> autosupport check show-details
Node: Node-01

Category:  http- https
          Component:  http-put-destination
             Status: failed
             Detail: HTTP/S PUT connectivity check failed for destination:
                     https://support.netapp.com/put/AsupPut/ via proxy -
                     <Proxy_FQDN or IP>:8080. Error: Possible Proxy
                     Authentication issue.
  Corrective Action: Ensure the user-id and password are set correctly for
                     the proxy URL.

          Component:  http-post-destination
             Status: failed
             Detail: HTTP/S POST connectivity check failed for destination:
                     https://support.netapp.com/asupprod/post/1.0/postAsup
                     via proxy - <Proxy_FQDN or IP>:8080. Server responded with
                     Error: 403.

  • Autosupport message from Event log show

ERROR         asup.aods.response.overLimit: AutoSupport OnDemand Server (AODS) response went over the response buffer size limit in ONTAP. Size limit: 20000 bytes.
