Issue

  • Reading data from the cold tier is slow only the first time it is accessed.
  • The cold tier provider's latency is less, such as 5-20 ms, compared to ONTAP's Cloud latency in qos statistics volume latency show, such as 40 ms.
  • The data in the cold tier has changed quite a bit in recent days.
  • Subsequent reads of the data are faster, such as the same 5-20 ms the cold tier provider's latency measures.
    -Note: The numbers of latency may change, but it is here as an example.
