Issue

  • After SVM DR (SnapMirror) replication from On-Prem ONTAP to Amazon FSx for ONTAP, destination volumes may display the compression type as “secondary,” which is not supported on Amazon FSx for ONTAP
  • This is a display-only issue; the volumes are actually using TSSE (adaptive) compression for new writes.
