CONTAP-142674: NFSv4 access to volumes fails due to incorrect group ID
Issue
In all current distributions of UNIX-like operating systems, such as Linux,
FreeBSD, AIX, and Solaris, by default the root user has the user ID 0 and
belongs to the root group with the group ID 0. Volumes by default are expected
to have the user ID 0 and the group ID 0. This enables NFSv4 client-server
communication as NFSv4 clients expect the default group ID and user ID to be 0:0.
However, Data ONTAP by default assigns the group ID 1 to new volumes. This
prevents access from NFSv4 clients running Unix-like operating systems.
