Answer

No. The FAS8300 is not PANIC when both two PSUs fais per Controller.
 
  •  The FAS8300/AFF A400/AFF C400 and FAS8700 system has 4 x PSUs per system

PSUs are plugged directly into the PCM (2 per canister)

PSUs power the midplane and if a failure occurs, will also power the partner PCM

  •  2+2 configuration

Requires power to at least 2 power supplies at all times for proper system operation

Power loss or removal of up to 2 of 4 power supplies from any location will still result in an operational system

Power from each PSU is delivered throughout the system (midplane, fans, partner PCM, local PCM)
