Unable to switchback following a motherboard replacement

Issue

  • Unable to perform a switchback after completing a motherboard replacement:
 
clusterA::> metrocluster switchback -simulate
[Job 001] Setting up the node and cluster components for the switchback operation...[Job 001] Job failed: Failed to set up the node and cluster components for the switchback operation. Use the
"metrocluster operation show" command to view detailed error information. Resolve the errors, then try the command
again.
clusterA::> metrocluster operation show
       Operation: switchback-simulate
           State: failed
      Start Time: 10/27/2022 11:34:27
        End Time: 10/27/2022 11:35:09
          Errors: Failed to set up the node and cluster components for the switchback operation.
                  clusterA (fatal): Configuration replication service is not ready in cluster "clusterB". Wait a few minutes, then try the command again.
 
  • The impaired node doesn't recognize its in switchover:
 
clusterB::> metrocluster show
