Issue

  • EMS generates an alert indicating that a cluster switch has rebooted:

[Cluster1: cshmd: hm.alert.raised:alert]: Alert Id = SwitchReboot_Alert , Alerting Resource = XXX-na.ICSW raised by monitor cluster-switch
[Cluster1: cshmd: hm.alert.cleared:notice]: Alert Id = SwitchReboot_Alert , Alerting Resource = XXX-na.ICSW cleared by monitor cluster-switch

  • In cluster switch logs, the switch up time matches the ONTAP alert trigger time. This confirms the switch has rebooted.
