Issue

  • Alert from controller

HA Group Notification from node_name (STACKMON RECONCILE FAILED) ALERT

  • EMS log shows the following messages

[node_name: stackmon_thread: stackmon.stack.id.conflict:error]: Stack ID of the Shelf 10 (S/N XXXXXXXXXXXXX) on channel 0c cannot be agreed on by all the nodes in the cluster.
[node_name: stackmon_thread: stackmon.shelf.discovery.complete:debug]: One or more shelves have been discovered.

  • storage stackmon show command shows failed-reconcile state

cluster::> set d
cluster::*> storage stackmon show

  • Issue persists after attempting to repair stackmon by executing storage stackmon repair run
