Single node fails to boot when power on

Issue

  • The node02 not boot with the following message after relocating the machine setup.

[2024-12-19 15:30:16.234] This node was previously taken over, waiting for disk inventory...(Press Ctrl-C to abort wait)
[2024-12-19 15:30:28.274] This node was previously declared dead.
[2024-12-19 15:30:28.276] Pausing to check HA partner status ...
[2024-12-19 15:30:36.602] partner is either not alive or is not in takeover mode.
[2024-12-19 15:30:36.612]
[2024-12-19 15:30:36.612]
[2024-12-19 15:30:36.612] The HA partner appears to be either not operational or not in takeover
[2024-12-19 15:30:36.620] mode. You will be asked whether you want to continue. If you answer "yes", the
[2024-12-19 15:30:36.629] existing failover monitor disk state will be overwritten and this node will be
[2024-12-19 15:30:36.635] rebooted. Answering "no" will halt this node with no modification to the failover
[2024-12-19 15:30:36.644] monitor disk state.
[2024-12-19 15:30:36.646] WARNING: Answering "yes" while the HA partner is operational and in
[2024-12-19 15:30:36.654] takeover mode will have unexpected and potentially catastrophic results:

  • Node02 shows booting in node01 console log

Dec 20 14:23:00 [node01:monitor.globalStatus.critical:EMERGENCY]: Controller failover of node02 is not possible: partner booting.
