SP firmware auto-update fails due to SP network configuration

Issue

  • SP firmware downloads to the node(s) normally.
  • SP pre-check fails for SP IP address not reachable:
node-02 Error:Install failed to initiate on node \"node-02\". Reason: Pre-update Check failed: SP IP address not available.
  • Network configuration for the SP is set to IPv6:

    Service Processor           Status: Online

    IPv4 configuration:         Disabled
    IPv6 configuration:
        Global IP:          XXXX:XXX:XXXX:XXX:X:XX:XXX:XX
        Prefix Length:      64
        Gateway:            XXXX:XXX:XXXX:XXX::x

  • DHCP is enabled:
[node-02: servprocd: sp.dhcp.failure:error]: Service Processor cannot obtain network configuration using DHCP.
