Onboard ports set to 100Mbps following motherboard replacement

Issue

  • Following motherboard replacement, ports e0a and e0b speed set to 100Mbs, but should be set to 1Gbps 

    Example: 
    slot 0: Gigabit Ethernet Controller 82580
       e0a MAC Address:    00:a0:98:83:28:85 (auto-100tx-fd-up)
       e0b MAC Address:    00:a0:98:83:28:86 (auto-100tx-fd-up)
       e0M MAC Address:    00:a0:98:83:28:87 (auto-1000t-fd-up)
       e0P MAC Address:    00:a0:98:83:28:88 (auto-1000t-fd-up)
       Device Type:        150E
       Firmware Version:   3.22 0x80000101
  • Manually setting port speed does not resolve issue 
  • Reseating cables does not resolve issue
