ONTAP boot and SP login fail

Issue

  • The cluster node is down at LOADER> prompt and will not boot ONTAP. 
  • When the boot is attempted the console goes blank and no output is provided. 
  • The Service Processor prompt is reachable from the serial console but the SP login is denied with an invalid credentials error. 
  • The credentials are confirmed on the partner node.
  • Reseating the motherboard does not resolve the issue.
