Issue

  • After ONTAP upgrade BMC FW does not auto update.
  • ::>system service-processor show show BMC status as offline.
  • Node down unexpectedly without any error and fall into reboot loop.
  • BMC remain accessible.
  • Node boot up after performing system power cycle from BMC.
  • After node boot up BMC status still show offline even after rebooting BMC and servprocd.
