Issue

  • Node experiences a generic panic message as follows:

PANIC MSG = vm_fault: fault on nofault entry, addr: 0xffffffff809b7000 pc: 0xffffffff809b7570 in process bash on release 9.10.1P12 (C)

  • CORE dump generated
  • No apparent physical failures are reported.
  • The node is able to return online, but randomly panics within hours or days from first incident.
