Internal shelf missing from storage shelf show

Issue

  • During a new cluster install of 5 HA(High Availability) pairs with internal shelfs only 4 shelfs are reporting instead of 5
  • One Shelf reports paths to 4 nodes instead of 2 nodes as seen by command STORAGE SHELF SHOW -CONNECTIVITY

  • Duplicate WWN & midplane serial number found under ENVIRONMENT logs for each node in 2 separate HA pairs involved

  • Checking ENVIRONMENT logs we can see that the ES ELECTRONICS INFORMATION shows different serial numbers per node in each HA pair as expected:
