High latency after ONTAP upgrade with CX5 Ethernet ports

Issue

  • After upgrading from ONTAP 9.12.1P2 to 9.12.1P5, high latency is seen on multiple FlexGroup and FlexVol volumes.
  • Most of the latency is determined to occur at the cluster interconnect layer.
  • High counts of CRC errors are seen on a cluster port of one of the nodes in the cluster.
