Issue

  1. Controllers, FC switches, and SFP modules all support 16GB speeds
  2. FC port speed always fails to negotiate to 16GB:
  • SAN switch and NetApp FC port are still running at 8G after re-plugging FC ports and FC cable replacement.
  • SAN switch and NetApp FC port are both set to 16G and FC cable replacement, still running at 8G speed.
  • SAN switch and NetApp FC port are both set to 16G, FC cable and the SAN switch SFP module replacement, still running at 8G speed.
  • SAN switch and NetApp FC port are both set to AUTO, FC cable and the SAN switch SFP module replacement, still running at 8G speed.
