Issue

  • After shelf firmware upgrade of DS460C shelf, IOM B is reporting NONCRITICAL status and PATH FAIL
  • From EMS:

Mon Aug 14 14:09:54-0500 [node-01: hamsg: sfu.adapterSuspendIO.ndu:info]:Suspending SMP to SAS adapter 0a for 35 seconds while shelf firmware isupdated.

Mon Aug 14 14:10:56-0500 [node-01: hamsg: sfu.adapterSuspendIO.ndu:info]:Suspending SMP to SAS adapter 0d for 35 seconds while shelf firmware isupdated.

Mon Aug 14 14:12:46-0500 [node-01: statd: monitor.shelf.warning:error]: Fault reported on disk storage shelf attached to channel 0a. Check fans, powersupplies, disks, and temperature sensors.

Mon Aug 14 14:13:00-0500 [node-01: monitor:monitor.globalStatus.critical:EMERGENCY]: Disk shelf fault.
