Issue

  • ONTAP report vifmgr.cluscheck.crcerrors error on single data port.

[node1: vifmgr: vifmgr.cluscheck.crcerrors:alert]: Port e0g on node node1 is reporting a high number of observed hardware errors, possibly CRC errors.

  • IFSTAT -A show issued port receiving CRC errors.

IFSTAT -A:
-- interface e0g
RECEIVE
CRC errors: 264 | Runt frames: 0 | Fragment: 1

  • Replacing SFP doesn't resolve the issue.
