Issue

  • Node taken over due to CLAM panic:
Panic String: Received PANIC packet from partner, receiving message is (Coredump and takeover initiated because Connectivity, Liveliness and Availability Monitor (CLAM) has determined this node is out of quorum.) in SK process mcc_ic_kill_pkt_handler on release 9.12.1P3
  •  Cluster applications offline with cluster ports down on affected node
  • Partner node cluster ports are up despite being direct connected
  • Loopback test shows both nodes have up ports, but fail to link up when reconnected to partner
  • Power cycle of affected node does not resolve the issue
