Issue

  • Autosupports alert on a daily basis for PSU

 HA Group Notification (CHASSIS POWER SUPPLY NEED TO BE REPLACED: PS 2) ERROR 

  • EMS alerts will be seen on an hourly basis on both the nodes in HA pair

Sat Aug 21 00:27:05 +0530 [Node-01: env_mgr: monitor.chassisPowerSupply.degraded:notice]: Chassis power supply 2 is degraded: PSU2 Volt Out is Critical High (12598 mV)

  • The "platform sensors" shows MULTIFAULT on the respective PSU.
  • Node reports CriticalFruMultiFaultAlert in sytem health alert output and event logs:

[Node-01: mgwd: callhome.hm.alert.critical:alert]: Call home for Health Monitor process cphm: CriticalFruMultiFaultAlert[XXXXXXX].
