Backplane LED continues to blink even after disk removal

Issue

  • The storage disk set-led -action blink command is used to turn on blinking for specific disks for identification.
  • The backplane LED keeps blinking amber even after removing the specified disks.
  • Reseating the disks or inserting a new disk into the specific slot does not change anything.
  • The blinking does not stop even after running the storage disk set-led -action command with on, off and resetall.
  • Reseating the IOMs of the affected shelf does not help.
