Answer

  • The system node environment sensors show command displays the "Crit-Hi" value of available sensors.
  • From the PLATFORM-SENSORS.XML section in AutoSupport messages also displays available sensors.
  • Review the "Critical Hi Threshold value" for ambient, LED board or Midplane temperatures that are applicable to the platform.
  • If the temperature in the equipment room exceeds this value, the equipment will undergo a shutdown - typically in 2 minutes.
