After node reboot data port physical link light is ON, port Down state in ONTAP

Issue

  • After reboot, data port is unable to come online.Affected port is showing Physical Link light, but the port shows Operational Link DownSYSCONFIG -A output shows the port offline and the SFP is recognized

  • SFP and cable reseat has been performed on both node and switch without changes
  • Switch SFP has been replaced and tested to be working
  • The affected port's administrative status has been switched off and on without changes
