Issue

  • The storage failover check-takeover command may retain past error from before a node rename:
    cluster1::*> check-takeover
    (storage failover check-takeover)
    Node Operation Option Operation-Status Reasons for Failure
    ----- ----------- ------ ---------------- ---------------------------------
    cluster1-01
    takeover normal false An earlier takeover attempt is in progress
    cluster1-02
    takeover normal false An earlier takeover attempt is in progress
    new1-01
    takeover normal true All checks passed
    new1-02
    takeover normal true All checks passed
    4 entries were displayed.

  • This may cause ANDU validation failure:
    cluster1::*> cluster image show-update-progress
    Estimated Elapsed
    Update Phase Status Duration Duration
    -------------------- ----------------- --------------- ---------------
    Pre-update checks failed 00:02:00 00:01:30
    Details:
    Pre-update Check Status Error-Action
    -------------------- ----------------- --------------------------------------
    ...
    High Availability Error Error: Takeover is not possible.
    status
    Action: Ensure storage failover is
    enabled on all nodes before
    attempting NDU. To check for storage
    failover status, run "storage
    failover show". cluster1-01: "An
    earlier takeover attempt is in
    progress", cluster1-02: "An earlier
