Issue

  • During a controller upgrade procedure node1 experienced a multi-disk Panic while node2 was performing the "boot_after_controller_replacement" causing an outage
  • The multi-disk Panic occurred on stage 6 step 3 of document https://docs.netapp.com/us-en/ontap-...sis/index.html
  • Review found disks being assigned to old node1 sysid that causes the Panic
  • Lingering old node1 sysid appeared to still be present and associated with previous spare disks
