  • When upgrading from an earlier ONTAP release to one of the versions listed below, or reverting from one of the versions listed below to an earlier ONTAP release:

ONTAP 9.15.1P16 to 9.15.1P19
ONTAP 9.16.1P9 to 9.16.1P13
ONTAP 9.17.1P2 to 9.17.1P8
ONTAP 9.18.1RC1 to 9.18.1P3（including 9.18.1 GA）
ONTAP 9.19.1RC1
 
The node may fail to boot and become stuck at :
Waiting for reservations to clear
  • Verification of the HA interconnect status shows that the RDMA link is down
